A place for the decisions, questions, and lessons behind Summon. Here is what we want to share as we build.
A place to think out loud
We want this journal to hold the parts of building Summon that do not fit on a landing page. The questions before a decision. The tradeoffs behind a feature. The things we try, change our minds about, and learn from.
This is our first note. There is no long history to dress up or big result to announce. We are opening a place to write as we go, so the thinking behind the product has somewhere to live.
What we want to share
Some posts will be small product updates: what changed, why we chose it, and what still needs work. Others will be thoughts about building software with AI and knowing when human judgment matters.
We also want to write about the less tidy parts. An idea that does not survive a closer look can teach us as much as one that makes it into the product. When we have a useful lesson, we want to explain the context instead of turning it into a slogan.
A record, over time
We will post when there is something worth saying. That means this page will grow with the work, rather than follow an announcement schedule for its own sake.
The goal is simple: make our choices easier to understand and leave a record we can look back on. If you are following along, welcome. This is where we will keep the notebook open.
